My path has never been a straight line, and that has been the point. I started my first business at sixteen, served as an officer in the Ground Forces Command headquarters and the Home Front Command, and went on to found or lead more than ten companies across consulting, technology, media, medical services, insurance, and finance, on several continents including Israel, Australia, China, Italy, and Ethiopia.
In 2006 I moved into finance and co founded the Orin Shpalter college, which grew into one of the largest privately owned financial education institutions in Israel. I have been investing in real estate since 2010, and today I am Chairman of Investo in Israel and head of business development for Investo Capital in the United States, alongside my partner Ohad Arad, who serves as Chief Executive Officer.
I am also Chairman and co founder of BeRich, the representative of Grant Cardone in Israel, an author of professional textbooks and story books, and a Miami based economic correspondent and panelist for the Israeli economic channel. I am a practicing attorney and a Certified Financial Planner, a licensed real estate broker, a licensed insurance agent, and a certified mediator, with a bachelor degree, an MBA, and a second degree in law.
I live in South Florida with my wife Carmit and our three children, close to a warm Israeli community. I write, and I spend a lot of my time trying to make one idea contagious: that anyone can learn to think like an investor.
